PechaKucha is a presentation format developed by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham where you present 20 slides for no more than 20 seconds each. For my PechaKucha presentation I wanted to raise awareness about the "Spread the Word to End the Word" pledge and campaign. The pledge is to stop the use of the R-word (retard) to create more accepting attitudes and communities for all people. This project was important and personal to me because my cousin Joseph has Down Syndrome. I wanted to educate people about the campaign and why everyone should make the pledge.
